Manuel Bellanger, MD, MPH, has opened the area’s newest medical practice, Sampson
Internal Medicine, a joint venture with Sampson Regional Medical Center. In her
new office in Suite A at 417 Vance Street, between downtown
Clinton and Sampson Regional Medical Center. Dr. Bellanger
sees patients ages 18 and older, for primary care, wellness preventative care,
and later life health concerns.
Internists promote and maintain overall health of
adults, by educating patients on good lifestyle skills, including exercise, hygiene
and nutrition. Dr. Bellanger will treat the heart, lungs and kidney, and also
the nervous, digestive, endocrine and circulatory systems. If lab tests or other
treatment options call for a particular medical specialty, including surgery,
Dr. Bellanger will refer patients as needed.
Dr. Bellanger has special interest
in the areas of diabetes management, and geriatric medicine, including dementia
and Alzheimer’s Disease.
